Cleaver East is a contemporary restaurant located in the heart of Temple Bar at The Clarence Hotel. The menu is full of explosive flavours, aged craft meat cuts and bone in grilled seafood with Eastern influences. Our team of Michelin-starred trained chefs have created an interesting, playful menu championing locally sourced Irish ingredients with infusions from East Asia. What we need from a Kitchen Porter…

  • To follow all cleaning schedules for the Kitchen and Back of House Areas
  • To wash all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, glassware, and condiment sets and ensure they are spotlessly clean
  • To sweep and mop floors using the correct chemicals and equipment
  • To store all Kitchen items in the correct place
  • To empty all bins in a timely manner and follow the recycling guidelines whilst doing so
  • To keep the kitchen clean and tidy and to an agreed standard
  • To always follow instruction for senior chefs on duty
  • Some food preparation jobs will also be part of this job
  • Strong work ethic and organisational skills
  • Work as part of a fast-paced team
  • To leave the kitchen to agreed standard at the end of EVERY shift
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Good ability to handle pressurised situations during busy services
  • Be flexible and willing to work weekends
  • To take pride in your work
