Malahide has its First Premium Steakhouse!
Ribeye is a traditional steakhouse that focuses on Irish bred cattle and sustainable stock from rare breed herds that are traceable from farm to fork and that is a minimum of 60% plus genetic thoroughbreds. A good steak is not just down to how it is prepared in our kitchens, it goes right back to breeding and ageing. We are extremely fussy when it comes to beef. Consistency in size, colour, fat retention, and great marbling are all elements we check for when giving our meat the once-over. If we’re not 100% satisfied that the meat fits our criteria, it won’t make it past the door.
Along with our home ground herds, we will also be featuring the best international steaks on the market such as the USDA Nebraska Prime from the USA, Piedmontese from northwest Italy, and Japanese Wagyu to name but a few. For none beef eaters we have a great selection of other options available from land, sea and garden.
